Actually, Craig, Mb and mb are both “megabits.” It’s the capitalisation of the “B” that determines whether it’s a bit or byte: B for byte, b for bit.

Hi, I just recently bought the iTrip Auto Universal. I am yet to receive it but I can’t tell you how helpful reviews like this are when you’re deciding on what to buy, so thanks a lot! I live in South Africa and I have been told by buddies that interference is minimal and crystal clear sound is pretty much the norm. I agree with you that it is always nice to be in your car and listen to your own tunes. I have an iPhone 4 so I carry my music library around with me, so its going to be awesome to have that music arsenal at my disposal finally.

Are those transfer rates megabits or megabytes per second? Because if they’re megabytes as you’ve written in the chart, then the actual throughput far exceeds the rated throughput.

212.1 Mb/s is 1696.8 mb/s, which I assume is not the case.

I’ve had an HP P1102w hooked up via WiFi to my home network for about 3 months. The printer has performed flawlessly. Yesterday, the printer lost its WiFi connection and could not re-establish the connection, despite all of my attempts. I found using the wireless configuration utility from HP was not having the desired effect. How to fix this?

My Cisco NSS2000 enclosure failed, but the drives are fine. Is there a recovery program that will get my data back? I’ve tried testdisk (using ubuntu) with no luck so far. I’m looking at PCkeeper, but before I spend any money I want to get some opinions. Does anyone have any experience with data recovery from this device? I’m open to any suggestions.

But you tested it by using Apple MACBOOK PRO ( It managed to outpace the built-in airport card of my MacBook Pro (late 2008) by a fair margin. The signal strength held up at a greater distance, as is to be expected by an external antenna in a completely plastic casing.). Please let me know if this device also work on a MAC BOOK PRO. Thank. Brandon: I have not experience the problem you mentioned. Are you using the built in music player or another third party app? Typically when I am using listening to music, I am using a third party app such as Pandora.

madenton: I have been using the same unit I initially received as a review sample for the last 6 months. Maybe I am just lucky because I am pretty rough on my S10-HD since I wear it mostly while I am work, sometimes for as many as 6 or 7 hours per day. The only audio related issue I have had is sometimes the headset does not seem to connect properly with the phone so no audio is transmitted. However, this usually happens only after I have been using wired headphones to listen to music and simply power cycling the phone fixes this problem.

My biggest problem is I keep losing the ear pieces because they fit in my ear tight enough that removing the headphones will pull the earbuds off the headphones. Sometimes I notice this happen but a lot of times the earbuds end up getting lost. Really wish this problem would be fixed.

Have had to replace them 2 times in 4 months! I bought these in April and loved them until they stopped working in June. Motorola replaced them in June (it takes two days to get the Return Authorization email which you need before returning the broken ones, and then it takes a week to get the replacements). They are now broken again and I won’t receive the replacements until September. The problem is the same: the sound becomes intermittent suddenly and then nonexistent over a few days. I use them only when I walk and do not mishandle them or mistreat them in any way. It’s pretty frustrating to have them work for 2 months and then wait 1 1/2 weeks to get a working pair again. Sadly, I anticipate updating this review in November…
